Forty players signed up for what will likely become a regular event.
We split into six tables, four with seven players and two with six;
the last player at each of the six tables played at a final table
(which is where the prizes went).

Here's how he took out his first table:
This nasty combo gets Sharuum the Hegemon,
Disciple of the Vault,
and a way to copy Sharuum — Sculpting Steel
— and the looping Legend rule bins the two Sharuums, which each trigger and bring the other back into play.
(It works because the Legend rule bins 'em before the CIP ability can be put on the stack.)
For the final table, Mike pulled out another, possibly more annoying combo: Time Vault and Mizzium Transreliquat.

Everything always starts out friendly at these things...
then the game states get complex...
and then someone goes and gets all rude!
Future events will be limited to the first 25 Generals registered; we will concoct
some sort of on-line registration that allows you to see all the reserved Generals.
This also keeps the event a more manageable size (5 tables of 5, 5 finalists).
